Having already starred in American Hustle and Fighter, which won him an Oscar in his supporting role in 2011, Christian Bale joins the filmmaker for the third time, and Robert De Niro for the fourth time in front of his camera. But the rest of the cast is made up of newcomers, whether it’s Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Taylor Swift, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana or Mike Myers.

Judging by the images, the festive program will feature shenanigans and conspiracies, with a mix of darkness and humor that David O. Russell is the usual. But a little more in the past than American Bluff or Joy.
