“House of the Dragon 2” has released three episodes, in which we have seen the events leading up to the war known as the Dance of Dragons, such as the death of Prince Lucerys Velaryon. Who is Ulf, the new character in ‘House of the Dragon’?
It all happens in a scene where we see a man named Ulf walk into a tavern in King’s Landing and, upon being noticed, the others greet him warmly. Soon after, he is sitting at one of the tables with some of his acquaintances, who ask him to tell his family history to two men from Dorne.
He agrees and quietly assures, so as not to be discovered, that he is the son of Baelon Targaryen, i.e. the father of Daemon and Viserys, making him his then brother and Rhaenyra’s uncle, to whom he apparently belongs. faithful, since he calls her a “true queen”.
Although the men around him assured him that he bore no significant resemblance to the aforementioned royals, he clarifies that he is a bastard son, that is, a child born out of wedlock, like Ramsay Bolton or Gendry Baratheon, “Game of Thrones characters.
The story of Ulf according to the book “Fire and Blood”
His appearance is confusing because “House of the Dragon” has not explained the relevance of the character, but this is what the book “Fire and Blood” says. First, it’s important to point out that Ulf does exist in the source material written by and is known as a “seed dragon”, meaning a bastard whose parent is of Valyrian or Targaryen descent and has the right to claim a dragon by necessarily being a member of houses in an official manner.

Finally, Ulf won’t be the only one we see fighting, as there are other dragon seeds that have actually already appeared in “House of the Dragon,” but in such a subtle way that only those in the know can recognize them. which appears in ‘Fire and Blood’.
