Plus belle la vie: Which serial killer inspired the character of Pascal? Davey Sardu answers

Last Tuesday, June 18, Davy Sardow made his debut in Plus belle la vie, in the skin of the even more beautiful Pascal Brach, a nurse who came to Mistral to strengthen the ranks of the medical office. However, very quickly, viewers discovered that he had indeed moved to Marseilles to give Jennifer real hell.

It was slowly interfering with his life and forcing him to lose his whole being. A Machiavellian plan that allowed Pascal to get close to a young woman… for better revenge. The two characters seem to share a dark secret.

The inspiration for Pascal’s character

To create the character of Pascal, Davy Sardu told our colleagues at Télé Loisirs that he was inspired by Jeffrey Dahmer, the infamous serial killer. In the 1980s, a man nicknamed the “Milwaukee Cannibal” confessed to killing 17 young men.

His sick story was turned into a series by Ryan Murphy a few years ago. For this occasion, it was Evan Peters who took on the appearance of a criminal. “The artistic direction had a lot of ideas from the beginning and finally this direction was chosenDave Sardu explained to our colleagues.

They have everything planned down to the smallest detail. I was able to express my opinion, but we pretty much agreed on the direction. I went down the day before the shoot to do some tests. Pascal is quite pale, so I put on make-up.”

Her hairstyle is not mine and I don’t wear glasses. I do not need. These glasses are quite eye-catching. They speak well of the character. It also has a flawless and neat side to it, which we absolutely wanted. He is also clean shaven.

Villains are the most interesting characters” according to Dave Sardu

Devi Sardu also spoke to our colleagues about what attracted him to the role of Pascal. “His story was so complex that I wanted to play him. Villains are the most interesting characters.”

The fact that Pascal is schizophrenic gives me the opportunity to show two sides of the same character, because at first glance he is charming, he is friendly, helpful, quite nice.

On the other hand, he is completely manipulative, borderline psychopathic with Jennifer“Now it remains to be seen how far she will go in her revenge… The answer in the next episodes of Plus belle la vie, even in Plus belle.
