Rose feels lost compared to Paul
After discovering that Paul knew Rose before they met at Double A and that he has read all of her books, Carla talks to him and Constance. He brings them proof of what he says, entrusting Rose with a signed book Berenia found in her library. Carla suspects that Paul is a die-hard fan who is targeting his mother and potentially planning to kill her in order to follow the plot of the novel.
Rose decides to confront Paul about it. He finds her in the garden. He admits that he has known and admired his work for a long time, adding that he hoped to meet him when he went to lunch at Double A. After that, he was afraid of spoiling the feeling between them by telling the truth. He apologizes, then claims that the pool incident was just a coincidence. He encourages Rose to trust him.
After this discussion, Rose finds Carla and Berenica by the pool. He repeats to them what Paul told him. If Carla wants to leave the villa immediately, Rose wants to explain things herself first. So he asks the girls to take everyone to the beach for the day.
Rose stays at the villa with Constance while Paul goes shopping in town. After that, Rose wants to take advantage of his absence and find the villa with Constance’s help. He really needs proof because Paul reminds him a lot of his ex, Rafael, Carla’s father, who was an expert manipulator.
On the beach, Carla can’t enjoy the moment because she’s worried about her mother. Finally, he explains to the others what he discovered about Paul with Berenice. At the same time, Constance texts her sister to ask her to Cody Paul’s office.
Rose and Constance go inside to search. Constance stumbles upon a file in the name of Maria Garnier, and Rose discovers a diary in which Paul seems to write every day. The last lines he wrote there read:He’s always on my mind, but I know one day I’ll have to let him go.“
Suddenly, Paul appears in the office and catches them in the act. Rose expresses a need for answers. Paul explains that the file they found is an old medical file of his ex-wife who died of cancer two years ago. As for the notebook, it is a diary that she keeps after her death, on the advice of a therapist. He lets Rose save it so she can read the rest.
A little later, everyone gathered in the villa. Paul assures them that he has no reason to fear them, claiming that this is revenge against his neighbor. Rose decides to trust him, against Carla’s advice. Suddenly something caught his eye outside: the horror is on fire. Paul goes outside while his guardian tries to put out the fire. But an explosion is heard.
Paul is slightly injured in the arm after the horrific explosion in his garden. He calls the police, who came to take his statement, as well as Rose and Constance. Like his flat tires and red paint seeping into his pool, Paul suspects his neighbor is behind it. The police say that they will interrogate him and then report him.
A little later, Rose joins Paul by the pool and returns the notebook, offering condolences to her husband, who died of cancer two years ago. After reading the rest of the notebook, Rose is now relieved to know that Paul is not a psychopath. Rose and Paul forgive each other, then kiss.
Afterwards, Rose goes for a walk on the beach with Carla. She assures him that Paul is someone she can trust. But she doesn’t blame her daughter for being suspicious. On the contrary, he is touched by her protective instinct towards him when he refused to talk to her not so long ago. Their relationship really developed. Karla confirms this and shakes his hand.
Back at the villa, Rose and Carla are enjoying the pool with Jasmine and Jim. Paul joins them with a bottle of champagne. When he heard from the Gendarmerie, he says that his neighbor is in the police station. To celebrate, Paul decides to throw a pool party.
Suleiman goes to reach out to Cleo, who is setting up a table on the terrace, and takes the opportunity to invite her to a pool party. The girl refuses, explaining that her parents don’t want to mix with guests because it’s unprofessional. On the other hand, he suggests that Suleiman meet him in an hour, not far away in the clearing. A young man goes to a meeting. After building the wall, Cleo joined him a few minutes later. they kiss
At the villa, Rose and Constance are relieved that the atmosphere has finally calmed down. Jasmine then asks Rose what’s going on in her novel after the red pool of blood and burning horror. So he says that all the people are killed and that the heroine dies at the end. Carla then rushes to put on some music to keep the atmosphere from getting heavy. Not everyone knows that someone is watching them with binoculars. Jasmine seems to be his target…

The young man admits that he overheard her conversation with Gary the day before and encourages her to tell Lionel the truth about the Bachelorette. But Zoe is afraid of her brother’s reaction if he knows that he did not pass the bachelor’s degree and prefers to postpone this moment until later.
Solal then joins Lionel. The latter still believes that Zoe passed her bachelor’s degree with honors. To congratulate her, he is going to collect her note and shape it to give it to her. Solal tries to win her over, to no avail.
So Lionel goes to Antoine’s office to tell him his gift idea and ask him to collect Zoe’s note. So the deputy director clears up this misunderstanding and tells him the truth.
Lionel immediately finds his sister in the park, unable to understand how he could fail the Bachelor when he always excelled in school. He urges her to repeat the last course to get a diploma, without which she will not be able to get a higher education. Zoe replies that obtaining a bachelor’s degree is not mandatory for the institute’s competitive examination. Realizing that this is just his sister’s whim, Lionel has every intention of stopping her.
Stanislas must face the facts
Maya unexpectedly comes to Stanislas at the institute. He pulls away from Double A to have a drink with her outside. But he is caught by Thibault, who is worried about Letitia’s absence in the room. Stanislas asks her to deal with him.
When Stanislaus returns to his desk, Maya asks him if he had an affair with Laetitia, specifying that she would not blame him if he did. Stanislaus admits that he had an affair with Laetitia and claims to have ended it as soon as she came out of her coma. Maya then confesses her affair with Sebastien, which began a few months before her coma, adding that she fell in love with him.
Stanislas remembers the message Maya left him, in which she encouraged him to live his life. However, he has a hard time solving it. Maya assures him that their relationship will be a good memory because they were truly happy together, but she pushes him to face the facts: it’s over.
The next day, Stanislas goes to see Letitia in the management office to check on her, especially about Kelly, who she accompanied to Dinard. But Laetitia is very cold towards him, including when she apologizes to him for what she said to him. At the same time, Antoine enters the office. Laetitia takes the opportunity to end the discussion with Stanislaus.
In Double A, Stanislas informs the students before the service begins. He worries that Laetitia is joining their ranks. When given the chance, she asks him what made him change his mind. Laetitia believes that now she should prioritize her career. He therefore wishes to return to a purely professional relationship with the maître d’hôtel.
After the service, Stanislas refuses to admit defeat and follows Letizia to the commissar to finally tell her what’s on his heart. He says he had a discussion with Maya where she admitted to cheating. She admits that their relationship has been on the rocks for a long time and she only stayed with him out of duty and guilt. In fact he fell in love with Laetitia. She is deeply moved by his declaration of love, which proves to her that his feelings are always reciprocated. Stanislaus and Laetitia kiss.
