The body of a 31-year-old woman was found in a wooded area in the rural area of ​​Uberaba, in the Triângulo Mineiro, on the morning of this Thursday 4th by the shop assistant Fiama da Silva Bento, who had been missing since June 22nd, allegedly killed by her 42-year-old boyfriend. He was arrested by the Civil Police after hiding the victim’s body.

After Fiama’s body was found by a team of Military Firefighters, it was found that she was injured and in an advanced state of decomposition. The police are treating the case as femicide, according to the newspaper Estado de Minas (EM).

The employee’s body was found only after a team of drug-sniffing dogs was called by the police station investigating the case to the banks of Ligação 799, in the Capelinha do Barreiro district.

Truck

According to the report, investigators found security camera footage showing the woman arriving at the house where she lived, in Bairro Ilha Bella, on the morning of June 22.

A few hours later, the video obtained by the Civil Police shows the moment the victim’s boyfriend leaves the house on a bicycle. He then returns in a truck. The footage also captured him throwing a black bag, presumably containing the victim’s body, into the body of the vehicle.

According to the EM, the truck’s GPS showed that the vehicle had headed to the Capelinha do Barreiro district on the day of the crime.
