Just in time for America’s Independence Day on Thursday, July 4th, Anthony Mackie, the new Captain America interpreter after the departure of Chris Evans, posted a new photo from the Marvel movie.
We see Sam Wilson (Mac) dressed as Captain America relaxing in front of a cameraman or photographer. This visual probably comes from a scene in which the superhero takes a commercial to promote the new Captain.
The hero wears a dark blue suit that is more discreet than the light suit worn by Sam Wilson during the final episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The combination is also closer to Chris Evans’ costume.

Anthony Mackie replaced Chris Evans and Wyatt Russell – who was replaced by Steve Rogers after the latter decided to return to the series in the 50s. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Directed by Julius Ona, Captain America: Brave New World will be Anthony Mackie’s first solo adventure, as neither Chris Evans nor Sebastian Stan, the same Winter Soldier who starred with him in the Disney + series, are included in the casting.
The ex-Falcon interpreter is flanked here by Harrison Ford, replacing the late William Hart, as Thaddeus “Thunder” Rossi, Giancarlo Esposito as an as-yet-unidentified antagonist, Liv. Tyler, who reprises her role as Betty Ross, Bruce Banner’s former companion played by Edward Norton in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, Danny Ramirez, who plays the New Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson, as well as the super-villain leader, Mark. Ruffalo, who takes on the role of the Hulk, Syrah Haas, who lends her qualities to the superhero Sabra, and Carl Lumbly as the superhero Isaiah Bradley.
We still don’t know what this feature film will be about, which will hit our theaters on February 12, 2025, meanwhile, the next Marvel movie to hit the screens will be Deadpool & Wolverine, which will be released on July 24.
