Scarlett Johansson was on the set of the NBC show yesterday today’s show To promote Greg Berlanti’s To The Moon (in theaters Wednesday, July 10), in which he stars opposite Channing Tatum. The morning show prepared a surprise for the actor, who has just started filming the new movie Jurassic World.
Jeff Goldblum, the star of the legendary saga created by Steven Spielberg, recorded a video message to the actress. “Dr. Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum. This is what I want to tell you. What I do know: Scarlett will find a way… don’t eat it if you don’t want to. I love you”.
A big surprise for the actor, a big fan of the franchise. Scarlett Johansson has previously stated that Jurassic Park was the first film she saw in the cinema. Comments have already been made on the site’s microphone ComickBook where he added: “This is one of the first movies I remember seeing in the cinema. He changed my life. It was eye-opening.
I’ve been trying to get into this saga for over a decade
I can’t express how excited I am to be a part of it. I’m a huge fan of the franchise. It’s like a dream. I have been trying to get into this saga for over a decade by any means possible. And I am ready to be eaten from the beginning. I told them, “I’ll eat anything! I’d do anything to be a part of it. The fact that it happened like this and at this time is really unbelievable. I can’t believe it.“
“Unbelievable Scenario”
Will it swallow Scarlett Johansson from the beginning of the film? What you probably don’t realize is that he’s headlining this movie, which restarts the $6 billion saga after Colin Trevorrow’s trilogy.
Written by David Koepp, who already worked on Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, and directed by Gareth Edwards (The Creator, Rogue One, Godzilla), this new film will also be directed by Jonathan Bale (The Bridgerton Chronicles), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. Rupert Friend, Luna Blaze (Manifesto) and David Iacono.
Scarlett Johansson also told ComickBook: “The script is incredible. David Cope wrote it. He’s back after 30 years. He’s so passionate about the subject, it’s really great.”
Currently filming, Jurassic World 4 is scheduled to hit our theaters on July 2, 2025.
