Cruzeiro had new recruits on the field in the 2-1 victory over RB Bragantino, this Saturday (13), at Independência, in the Brazilian championship. According to coach Fernando Seabra it was necessary to gather the new athletes for a course and theoretical training on the system used by Raposa.

– The incoming players had a coaching session to answer all the questions, understand how the system works and delve into the functions and coordination within the sectors. Coordination in defense, in attack… there is a whole, it is not Seabra, it is the dedicated and active working group. This facilitates the understanding and integration of the players – noted the coach.

In the second half, Seabra deployed Matheus Henrique and Argentine Lautaro Díaz. The Cruzeiro coach explained that the objective is to seek evolution for the entire group.

– The players who debuted today (against RB Bragantino) are the work of the entire committee. We train the players. When the needs arise, what can we do to help them better understand the functions or evolve their game. We give individual feedback to the athletes – he concluded.

With the win, Cruzeiro jumps to fifth place, now with 29 points, but provisionally. Raposa has one game less in the Brasileirão.
