Vinicius Mello, revealed at Internacional, is about to start another season with FK Cukaricki
FK Cukaricki, which has Brazilian Vinicius Mello in its squad, begins its journey in the 2024/25 season this Saturday (20), when they will face Radnicki, in the first round of the Serbian championship. Signed from Charlotte FC, from the MLS, Vini Mello arrived at the Eastern European team in January this year and can complete the pre-season with the club.

In five preparatory friendlies played, the striker played four times, starting three and scoring two goals.
“It was very important to have done the pre-season, three years ago I couldn’t prepare so well to start the season. I’m sure this will reflect positively on the pitch,” revealed the striker.
According to Internacional, the 21-year-old ended last season on a high note, scoring six goals and providing one assist in 13 games in the Serbian league. His good performance in the final stages of the campaign earned him the league’s best player award in April.
“I have very high expectations for this season, because of how I finished the last one and because I already know it better. Now, however, the opponents know me a little more, I don’t think there will be any particular markings or anything like that, but they should be more connected,” he said.
The Brazilian comments on the club’s goal for the 2024/25 season
In the 2023/24 season, FK Cukaricki finished in sixth place, four points behind the last-placed team in the Conference League. The goal for this year is clear: to secure a place in a continental competition.
“Our club’s goal is to qualify for European competitions, in the last championship we hit the crossbar. But we are working hard to make this happen”, he concluded.
Finally, the match between FK Cukaricki and Radnicki will take place at 15:00 Brasilia time this Saturday (20) at the Cukaricki Stadium.
