Bolt: The Superdog (2008)

All the dog knew was one reality: he was genetically engineered and trained to protect his guardian, a girl named Penny, who was constantly threatened by a villain. For many years, he was raised as if this were his reality, instead of being told he was a normal dog with an acting job.

One day, a disturbance occurs on the movie set and Bolt is taken away from his Hollywood home. Lost in the world, he doesn’t know where to find water, food, or shelter. To survive, you’ll have to listen to the advice of Mittens the kitten and Rhino the hamster to learn how to deal with the fact that you can’t find your way home.
You can watch the animation on Disney+.
A Good Hotel for Dogs (2009)
Andi (Emma Roberts) and Bruce (Jake T. Austin) are moved into a non-pet-friendly foster home, which is a problem since they have a dog. To solve the problem, they find an abandoned building and use it as a safe place to leave their dog.

Eventually, the building will become home to more and more animals, and the more dogs, the more they will bark. When the neighbors start calling the police and complaining about the noise, Andi and Bruce will have to find a way to hide the place and keep all the pets safe.
Those interested can watch the film on Prime Video or Apple TV.
Max: The Hero Dog (2015)

Still grieving the abrupt separation, Max finds it difficult to relate to his new surroundings and new owners, but eventually forms a strong bond with his former partner’s younger brother. Now they must work together to unravel the mystery that led to the soldier’s death.
