Is a deadlock coming? The Portuguese makes an offer for Vagiannidis, who has already accepted the Glorioso project
Former club of coach Artur Jorge, Sporting Braga were also in the running for right-back Vagianidis. The information comes from the TV “Sportitalia”, in Italy. According to the publication, the Portuguese have already formalized an offer to Panathinaikos, a Greek club that is a target of Botafogo.

Braga is offering €1.2 million (R$7.3 million) as a reward for signing the contract and a salary of €1 million (R$6.1 million) per season. The bond with Minho would last four years.
Botafogo, in turn, put 1 million euros on the table of Vagiannidis, who greeted Glorioso positively and even scheduled the date of the trip to Rio de Janeiro. He was also happy to learn that Alvinegro is part of an international network of clubs, Eagle Holding, owned by North American businessman John Textor.
The Rio club and the defender, however, still have to negotiate the release of the athlete. Glorioso, in talks with Panathinaikos, claims that the right-back could leave for free, in mid-2025, if he continues at the European club. The period therefore corresponds to the end of the beast’s bond with the Greeks.
In this international transfer window, Botafogo has already announced three reinforcements. Namely: the midfielder Allan, former Napoli (ITA) and Vasco, the midfielder Almada, world champion with Argentina, and the center forward Igor Jesus. Martins, former Fluminense, has the purchase forwarded by Mais Tradicional.
