It’s become a Marvel tradition to keep fans waiting for the famous post-credits scenes. Some are little character jokes, others have major hooks for what’s to come next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). With the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine” came the time-honored question: Does the movie have a post-credits scene?
The film is the third in a trilogy that began in 2016 and comes six years after “Deadpool 2.” In other words, fans will likely jump at any opportunity to see Wolverine back in action.
Does “Deadpool & Wolverine” have a post-credits scene after all?
The answer is yes. “Deadpool & Wolverine” has two post-credits scenes. If you’re one of those who don’t like spoilers, you can stop here and wait in your seat at the theater. If you’re curious…
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Post-Credits Scenes Don’t Connect With MCU
Deadpool is known for its jokes, and the post-credits scenes couldn’t be any different: unlike other Marvel films, the final lines have no connection to the MCU, but are just… jokes.
The first scene begins with the song “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” by the band Green Day playing. We then get some never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of the Marvel heroes while they were still owned by Fox Films (the two companies were later purchased by Disney, allowing the characters to unite in the same universe).
In them we see a young Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) interacting with his X-Men colleagues, such as Ian McKellen (Magneto) and Patrick Stewart (Professor Xavier); and Ryan Reynolds in “Blade” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” (a film that shows the origin of the villain Deadpool in cinema).
In other words, a big joke, including Reynolds saying it was his dream to play Deadpool.

The second post-credits scene ties directly into “Deadpool & Wolverine.” In it, the protagonist appears at the headquarters of the Temporal Variance Authority (TVA), observing that Cassandra Nova (Emma Corin) has flayed the Human Torch (Chris Evans, from “The Fantastic Four”), turning the hero to bones because of her. . Same.
The scene also reveals that the person responsible for ratting out Deadpool to other heroes, forcing Cassandra to skin the Human Torch, was Wolverine. However, while Deadpool isn’t exactly trustworthy, he denied what he did and he was right. The footage showed the truth: that Torch was abusing Cassandra before the incident.
All in a fun tone, of course, especially for those who are used to seeing Chris Evans “straight” at Marvel.
