Snoop Dogg Becomes a Meme After Participating in Olympic Torch Relay

The North American rapper became one of the most talked about topics on social media when he paraded through the streets of Saint-Denis this Friday (26)

Not even Snoop Dogg has gone unpunished on social media. The American rapper took part in the Olympic torch relay this Friday (26), in Paris, and has become a meme on the web for his relationship with cannabis.

Internet users have linked the Olympic torch in Snoop Dogg’s hand with a marijuana joint. Last year, the rapper announced the creation of his own cannabis brand. However, in 2015, the artist had already launched the Merry Jane website, dedicated to the world of the plant.

“He actually thought it was a giant dick,” one internet user said during Snoop Dogg’s performance. Another chimed in: “I don’t know how he didn’t mistake it for a giant cigarette,” he said.

Olympic torch relay

Snoop Dogg’s participation took place a few hours before the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games, which began at 2:30 pm this Friday (26). The rapper mobilized the public present in the streets of Saint-Denis, in the north of the capital.

It is worth noting that the North American rapper has already been involved in another event related to the Paris Olympics. In June, Snoop Dogg ran 200 meters on a track during the US Olympic trials.
