It was the second medal for Team Brazil at the Paris Olympic Games and the second in Judo, which saw Willian Lima win the silver.
WALK TO BRONZE
In the preliminary round, Larissa defeated Djamila Silva in the qualifications and Chelsie Giles in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals, the Brazilian was defeated by French Amandine Buchard. In the repechage, Larissa threw an ippon to German Masha and secured the bronze medal in Judo, which she won by beating the Italian.
