Another title for Al Hilal. This Saturday (17/8), in the final of the Saudi Super Cup, the team coached by Jorge Jesus and still without Neymar (who will return in September), became champion by beating Al Nassr. And it was a rout: 4-1. After all, after losing 1-0 at the beginning of the first half, thanks to a goal by Cristiano Ronaldo, Hilal destroyed in the second half the team coached by former Botafogo player Luis Castro. After all, he had an inspired quartet to destroy his rival. Two Brazilians: Michael (formerly of Flamengo and leaving the club) and Malcom, author of a goal and an assist; and two Serbians, Milinkovic-Savic, author of a goal, and Mitrovic, top scorer of the match with two goals.

Thus, Hilal, who last season broke the record for consecutive victories in world football and won the King’s Cup and the Saudi Championship, also won the Saudi Super Cup for the second time in a row.

The game had two distinct halves. In the first half, Al Nassr imposed their game and took the lead when Cristiano Ronaldo completed a cross from the left and scored 1-0.

In the second half, however, everything changed. Al-Hilal began to suffocate their rival, attacking mainly from the right and in the center of the attack, almost always looking for Michael. And they scored four goals in 17 minutes. At ten years old, Milinkovic-Savic was very opportunistic in leaving everything the same. In the 18th minute, on a cross from the right, Milinkovic scored with a header. Things went even worse for CR7’s team, a star who barely touched the ball. At 24, Michael began the move that reached Malcom. The Brazilian crossed from the right and Mitrovic scored the third. The fourth goal came in the 27th minute. Goalkeeper Bento made an error. The former Atletico-PR player got involved with the ball at his feet and Malcom put it in.
