Long return to the big screen for a week before the premiere of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in September

Ghosts Have Funclassic of Tim Burton starring Michael Keaton and Winona Ryderreopens in Brazilian cinemas starting this Thursday, August 15th. The 1988 film will be in theaters for a week, until August 21st, to celebrate the premiere of the sequel, The Ghosts Still Have Fun: Beetlejuice Beetlejuicein September.

What is the story of Ghosts Have Fun?

After dying in a car accident, Barbara (Geena Davis, A Very Special Team) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin, Dr. Death) end up trapped in their old home. When a new family and their teenage daughter, Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder, Stranger Things), move into the residence, the couple tries to scare the new residents.

Although they are unsuccessful in their “mission”, the haunting attempts end up attracting a flashy spirit, lived by Michael Keaton (Spotlight: Secrets Revealed), which makes living in the residence dangerous for both ghosts and Lydia and his family. Watch the trailer:
