The first week of Older brother Season 24 isn’t over yet and there’s already some great post-season drama. recent veto contest . Fans and even some former gamers are watching live streams with theirs Subscriptions of primary importance they take up arms after it appears a guest is cheating and trying to break the rules in a way that gives them an advantage.
Paloma Aguilar was already on the wrong side of some fans to be one of the masterminds that led to Taylor Hale’s current mistreatment of the house, and now there are others who are upset by her alleged deception and want her to face the consequences for breaking the rules. Here’s what happens and what could happen to Paloma if she breaks the rules.
Why is Paloma Aguilar accused of cheating?
Viewers caught Paloma during live broadcasts Sunday night, believing she had found a loophole Older brother. Paloma was well aware that guests who play the game cannot agree to split the money, but she thinks she has found a way around it. Paloma explained the idea of him to Alyssa Snider (via elder brother’s diary) and how he thought he was making fun of the game:
I know we can’t share money, I know we can’t share money, but I’m telling you I’m going to invest in you because I believe in you. $ 750,000 isn’t mine, it’s all ours.
Paloma shared this idea with a few other people in the house, promising to “invest” in any side projects they would have if she won the $ 750,000 first prize. In Paloma’s mind, she thinks she has found the perfect strategy Older brother I can’t punish her, but that doesn’t seem likely given past incidents.
Will Paloma be able to face the consequences of his words?
It is well documented that Older brother considers treating Houseguest in terms of price sharing as a violation of the rules, and Paloma is not the first Houseguest to introduce this idea. In season 17, Vanessa Rousso (a guest who some fans would like to see the return ) attempted to bribe competitors by claiming that he would use the prize money to buy expensive gifts for guests to curry favor with the house. The production finally told Vanessa to stop doing this (via hamster clock ) and confirmed that his escape had in fact violated the rules.
Older brother fans also saw James Huling make a similar deal to split the prize money between four people in season 18, and attached romper the food was cut shortly after. James was unaffected as far as we know and the game was played normally.
Based on past experience, it doesn’t seem likely that Paloma will face any more punishments other than perhaps a tough chat with the Older brother producers. Disqualification of him seems unlikely, so unless the first HOH Daniel Durston changed his mind with its renaming plans, or is doing something much more serious than having her expelled he’ll probably get away with little more than a pat on the wrist for the week and stay home. Older brother Viewers may have to accept that Paloma’s alleged cheating, even if confirmed, will likely not result in expulsion.
