For the record, Horizon Chapter 2 was originally supposed to come out this summer, more or less following in the footsteps of the first, but the release ended up being pushed back. The release of the second installment of his Western mural, scheduled for August 16, 2024 in American theaters and September 11 in France, has been postponed, with no new exact date. Then, the Venice Film Festival announced that Chapter 2 will be screened at Mostra. After Cannes, American Saga was able to continue its festival tour and get a lot of exposure after the film.

Chapter 2 has been delayed due to the box office failure of the first film in the saga. It has grossed just $36.1 million worldwide to date and drew 283,607 viewers in France. And this despite the fact that the production of the feature film cost 100 million GEL, including the personal funds of 38 actors and directors.

An ambitious project
