Where will the Count of Monte Cristo end up? Written and directed by Mathieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellier, the film crossed the eight million mark in France a few days ago. And it’s not over yet.
The blockbuster starring Pierre Nin has also been pre-selected to represent France in the 2025 Oscar race. Still showing in many theaters, the feature film already has a video release date: November 6th.
In its press release, Pathé announces the release of four video media: DVD (€19.99), Blu-ray (€19.99), 4K + Blu-ray Combo package (€24.99) and package 4K steelbook + Blu-ray. ray (€29.99). There is no indication at this time if these formats will include bonuses for filming. A VOD release has not yet been announced.
To extend the success of the film, this video release is highly anticipated. The adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ novel exceeded all expectations. The name of the feature film selected to represent France in the Best Foreign Film category will be announced on September 18.
