Fans distributed 15,000 images alluding to the defeat in the first round of the Brasileirão
Flamengo fans have prepared a series of provocations for Vasco fans this Sunday at Maracanã. The two teams meet again at 18:30, three months after the extraordinary 6-1 in the first leg of the Brazilian championship: Flamengo’s biggest defeat against Vasco.
From Saturday night until dawn, fans put up posters in Rua Eurico Rabelo, which gives access to Vasco fans, as well as in the South sector, the area intended for visitors to today’s classic, whose organization is under the responsibility of Flamengo.
In addition, 15,000 stickers will be distributed with the image of Arrascaeta’s celebratory goal. The Uruguayan was one of the Flamengo players who found the net in that historic defeat on June 2, also at the Maracanã.
The result came after Veggeti opened the scoring for Vasco at the start of the first half. The team, in fact, is attracted by the debut of coach Alvaro Pacheco. After the start of the scoring, Flamengo dominated the match and scored with Everton Cebolinha, Pedro, David Luiz, Arrascaeta, Bruno Henrique and Gabigol.
