Hyundai’s next cars won’t be “iPhone friendly”


Samsung’s partnership with Hyundai and Kia will develop a new car infotainment system through an app called SmartThings

In January, the SAMSUNG announced a partnership with South Korea Hyundai AND Kia and now, eight months later, more details have been shared. According to the technology and electronics giant, future cars from both automakers will be equipped with an infotainment system that will offer more advanced control via the app Find SmartThings. In this way, iPhone owners can miss something.

Aiming to provide a more connected experience to customers, manufacturers will work primarily using the Samsung system. The platform will force users to do so iPhone using applications. After all, the program is native only to Samsung.
