Un Si Grand Soleil: Kira’s departure, Thais’s start in the police force… Lila Giraud’s revelations

A new chapter begins for Thais (Lila Guiraud) in Un si grand soleil!

After coming close to death because of Arno Agera, Theiss realized that he wanted to do something important and chose a career in the police. At the hands of The Bachelor, the young woman will take her first steps at the Montpellier police station and join the team of Commissioner Becker (Yvonne Beck) in the episode that will be broadcast on Tuesday, October 8, on France 3.

But what are the authors of the series preparing for him?

Met during the La Rochelle Fiction Festival last September, Lila Guira, Tais’ translator, spoke to Allocine about what lies ahead for her character in the next episodes of Un si grand soleil.

Allocine: Going back to the beginning of your adventure in Un si grand soleil, what attracted you to the role of Tais?

Lila Gyro : His strong character and that he is quite mature for his age.

How do you see Tais’s evolution since your arrival in the series?

He gained maturity and strength. He is much more responsible and mature. She is indeed a young woman.

Tais was at the heart of powerful, intense and surprising intrigues. Do you have a favorite plot?

The first intrigue after I arrived was with the professor. It’s a plot that had a huge impact on me because it was the first, but also because it was so emotionally engaging. I have very good memories of him.

Colin Ramos-PintoKira’s translator left the series recently. How did you experience this departure?

It made me feel weird. I’m so happy he’s moving on to other horizons, but it leaves a bit of a void. Although I love all of my partners, my relationship with Coleen was special.

Do you know if Colin Ramos-Pinto can return to the series?

As long as it’s open and the characters aren’t dead, there’s always a chance. It depends as much on Un si grand soleil as on the will of the actor.

With Kira no longer there, who could Tyce befriend from now on?

Maeve’s (Marie Fevre) character has been very relevant to Thais, but she will end up with Louis (Sylvain Bocara) as they are the last two of Robin’s (Lucas Ivula) gang. On the other hand, Robin will no longer be closely related to Tiago.

Tice was recently at the center of the intrigue surrounding the Agera family and almost lost her life in a swimming pool scene. How did this shoot go? How did you prepare for this scene?

We had one night to shoot all the swimming pool scenes, whether it was the drowning scene or all the scenes where we see Tais and Arno swimming. We had a freediving coaching session so we could do it, otherwise we would have to keep going up to the surface. The coaching session went very well. Paul and I could, but on the day of the shoot because the conditions weren’t the same because we were in the dark, it was very special. Fortunately, coach Jean-Charles was there to calm us down. The last sequence, which was the drowning sequence, was a bit rock and roll. It was really the last shot and we did it at 5am.

After the Agera case, Thais decided to join the police force. How will his arrival at the police station go?

Good, but with some inconvenience. Alice (Malia Roman) takes him under her wing and supports him through this apprenticeship. He will also have to distinguish between friends and work.

What were your first steps in the police department? What was it like wearing the uniform for the first time?

It was strange. I felt like I was changing projects because I had a change of scenery. I still sometimes make the mistake of going to the gymnasium studio when I’m shooting at the police station (laughs). It’s the same for the costume, but we got used to it. It still took me a few days to get in the mood.

How does it feel when Thais grew up?

It makes me happy and I can’t wait to develop it further.

Tais always holds his heart. Will she find love in the next episodes?

Thais will definitely have a romantic encounter.

We ultimately know very little about your character’s past and his family history. Are the writers planning to delve deeper into Thais’ story in the coming months?

I would, but I get the impression that this is a card the writers save for later. I really wish the relationship between Tais and his father had developed a bit and we had learned more about his mother. I am interested to know the history of Thais family.

Such a large sun is known to protect strong social issues. Is there a topic you’d like to see addressed through the character of Thais?

Everything related to injustice. I’m excited because I’ll have a lot to play with and protect around that, especially with Thierry’s character.
