Ahead of Tabata’s votes, Boulos promises to incorporate three of the MP’s proposals

The PSB candidate, fourth in the SP elections, announced his support for the PSB on Sunday; the MP said he had not yet spoken to Tabata, but said he was “very grateful”

Seeking the voters of Tabata Amaral (PSB), the mayoral candidate of São Paulo of the PSOL, Guilherme Boulos, announced on Tuesday 8th that he will incorporate three proposals from the deputy’s government program into his plan. Tabata, fourth in the elections with 9.91% of the votes, declared his support for Boulos immediately after the votes were counted on Sunday 8th.

“I was very grateful for the support of Tabata Amaral, a direct, sincere, unconditional support. Our campaign decided to incorporate three proposals that he presented in his government program to our plan to move to São Paulo,” he said Boulos.

The first of these proposals is the Young Entrepreneur, which aims to offer credit to those who wish to undertake and open their own business. The second is Rampa, which aims to provide support to mothers of autistic and disabled children. The third is the creation of a Technology Hub in the east area, with the aim of being an innovation center on the outskirts of the city.

“Tabata brought these proposals into his campaign and I decided to incorporate them,” said the PSOL candidate. He added that he had not yet spoken to the congresswoman after the first round, but expressed a desire to meet with her to personally thank her for her support. Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) also expressed support for Boulos through an Instagram post.

Asked about formal support from the PSB, Boulos said further support was expected in the coming days, but did not specify what.

The commitment was made during his first street agenda of the second round, visiting businesses on the Estrada do M’Boi Mirim, in Jardim Capela, south of the capital. In the first round, Boulos won in the neighborhood electoral area (Piraporinha) with 36.98% of valid votes, beating mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB), who obtained 26.04%, and influencer Pablo Marçal ( PRTB), with 25.35%.
