The billionaire had a brief but notable appearance in Young Sheldon.

Acclaimed sitcom from Warner Bros., The Big Bang Theory marked the history of television. The series was so successful that, in 2017, it got a spin-off titled Young Sheldonwhich follows the story of the title character throughout his childhood.




Just like the original work, Young Sheldon has had its share of cameos. In one of them, the businessman Elon Musk he made a brief but notable appearance, more specifically, in episode 6 of season 1: A Patch, a Modem and a Zantac.

ELON MUSK’S STOLE SHELDON’S IDEA

In the aforementioned chapter of Young Sheldon, Sheldon is at school and listens to a lesson given by a NASA employee. The professional explains that taking rockets into space is expensive and costs the government coffers and, consequently, taxpayers a lot. Sheldon then raises his hand and presents a solution to the man, claiming that to save money, he would simply return the rocket to base instead of dropping it into the sea.

The NASA employee claims that Sheldon’s idea is interesting, but that it is not possible to realize it. Sheldon writes a paper on the topic, only to send it to NASA and be ignored once again. Years later, the study ends up in the hands of none other than Elon Musk, who uses Sheldon’s reasoning to appropriate the technology for his company, Space where it actually comes from.
