Gandalf in “The Fellowship of the Ring”…
Frodo: “I wish the ring had never come to me, that none of this had happened.”

Spoken by the wizard in the darkness of Moria when the community seems to have lost itself, these grateful words return to Frodo’s mind at the end of the film as he prepares to set out on his lonely journey.

This simple but very powerful little phrase has become established over time as one of the most famous quotes in cinema. Its popularity probably stems from the fact that it perfectly reflects Forrest’s personality: its apparent simplicity actually hides an unsuspected depth.
Indeed, behind these few naïve and childish words, there is a sadness against expulsion, against the breaking of routine, against re-believing in the future and against all hope.
Maximus in “Gladiator”…

These few words that lead to the first battle of Ridley Scott’s film could have been chosen as the poster of a feature film, because they perfectly sum up the spirit of the work and systematically act as an epic breath on everything feature film.
Sarah Connor in “Terminator 2″…
Sarah Connor: “No fate. There is no fate but what we make.”
Even if we much more often get lines like “I’ll be back”, “Hasta la vista, baby” or even “Come with me if you want to live”Undoubtedly, it is this simple sentence that actually forms the true heart of the Terminator saga.
A proverb uttered by Sarah Connor throughout the film and passed on to her son John, it perfectly embodies the spirit of resistance that must be born in the face of danger to mankind. Against all appearances, amidst the growing darkness, this small light shone like a torch from the slightest curse. Before setting off to settle a score with Skynet himself, the protagonist of the feature film takes great care to carve these two elementary words into the wood of his desk: “no fate”.
Rocky in “Rocky Balboa”…

It is in the sixth opus of the franchise, released in 2007 and directed by Sly himself, that Rock’s most masterful tirade is. On screen, her son Robert, from whom she has been gradually estranged in recent years, scolds her for notoriety, declaring that he was the first victim of her life.
Rocky, tired of seeing her mope and worry, then offers her (and everyone else watching the film) a terrifying and powerful tirade intended to bring her back to her feet. To this vocal shock, which instantly acts like a defibrillator on his exhausted soul, Rocky Balboa’s son finds no response and is content to watch his father return to his small Italian restaurant, following him with his eyes. Two eyes that hadn’t seen it clearly in a long time.
