The initiative started from an obscure right-wing influencer, Renato Ronner, who this Friday (18/10) filed a complaint against the young woman with the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro. “I did my duty as a citizen and reported Bia Miranda to the Civil Police for having aborted her baby. With my report I am within the legality, because abortion is a crime provided for by article 124 and she can be sentenced up to 3 years”. years in prison,” he said.
The complaint came a day after Bia Miranda revealed, during a conversation with Carlinhos Maia, that she had miscarried the baby she was expecting with her ex-boyfriend, Gato Preto. Before that, she revealed on social media that she was considering having an abortion. Gato Preto later also reported that he had “taken away” the child, which Bia denied.
A previous request for an investigation had already been presented on October 3 by federal deputy Messias Donato (Republicanos-ES) so that the Ministry of Justice could investigate a possible abortion practice by the influencer. On this occasion, the parliamentarian relied on the statements published on social media by Bia and Samuel Sant’Anna, Gato Preto. But Bia said at the time that she was still pregnant.

Bia explained on Thursday (10/17) that she went to the doctor and was informed that the fetus was “a little crooked”, with the possibility of natural loss.
