The British band Coldplay and the football club Barcelonafrom Spain, announced a special partnership this Thursday. In the game against Real Madridwhich takes place on the 26th, Barça players will enter the field wearing a uniform with the band’s symbol printed on it.
The action is part of an agreement between Barcelona and Spotifywhich sponsors the Spanish club. The streaming platform usually prints its own symbol on uniforms, but changes the image on special occasions.

This time, the tribute takes place in the wake of the Moon Musican album released by Coldplay in early October.
This is not the first time that Barcelona, through a partnership with Spotify, has featured big names in music on its shirt.
The strategy was launched by Drake in 2022. After him, names like Rosalía, Rolling Stones and Karol G they also appeared on the team’s uniforms.
In the case of Coldplay, however, the agreement has special meaning, as the song “Live La Vida” is one of the chants sung by the Culé fans at the stadium.
The match against Real Madrid takes place at 4pm (Brasília time) next Saturday (26th), in the 11th round of LALIGA. The game will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, in Madrid, Spain.
Furthermore, the Barcelona women’s team will also wear the uniform in the duel against Eibarin November.
