Summary

Singer Lucas Lucco had his car broken into in Amsterdam, resulting in a loss of R$100,000, including a backpack with valuables.

The singer Luca Lucco experienced a not exactly pleasant situation on Saturday 19th in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He, who was in the city to take part in a marathon, had his car broken into and a backpack confiscated by criminals. “It was a loss of 100 ‘sticks’ [R$ 100 mil]at least”he said.

When describing the situation, the artist seemed surprised, even comparing it to Brazil. “I never thought this would happen here. I’ve never been robbed in Brazil,” he said.

According to Lucas Lucco, the backpack itself was valuable, as it came from the Gucci brand. Inside were a Rolex watch, Apple wireless headphones and his passport. Furthermore, there was also his registration number for the road race, which ended up discouraging the singer even more.

“I was discouraged from running the half marathon tomorrow, I’m really discouraged,” he said.

Lucas said he also tried to find the suspects. He went to a police station in the city, proving that the location of his AirPods was still active. The police went with the singer in a van to search for his things, but nothing came of it.

“We looked for the location of the airpod, but it wasn’t there for 20 minutes, because it’s not real time,” he said.

The singer was doing the shopping when the robbery occurred. The vehicle was located in the shopping center parking lot.
