Wayans brothers will reunite to develop new Everybody in Panic

Announced in April this year, during CinemaCon, the reboot of Everyone in Panic will count on the returns of the brothers Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Keenen Ivory Wayanscreators of the franchise.

According to information from the Deadline, Rick Alvarezwho worked with the brothers on the first two films in the franchise, will also participate as a screenwriter and producer of the new chapter, which is scheduled to be filmed next year, but does not yet have a release date in theaters.

Everyone in Panic debuted in 2000 parodying horror films such as Panic (1996) and I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997). With the success of the first film, the franchise gained a second chapter in 2001, still under the command of Wayans brothersand three other sequences, between 2003 and 2013.

Anna Faris (The Bunny House), Regina Hall (Ghosts of the Past), Marlon Wayans (The White Girls) and Shawn Wayans (The Little One) are some highlights of the original cast that fans hope to see in the new film. However, no name was confirmed in the reboot until now.
