Enem 2024: SP strengthens security to take the exam

According to the SSP, the teams will accompany the tests and remain close to the schools

THE Sao Paulo Military Police will strengthen security in the municipalities of São Paulo to achieve the National high school exam (Enem) 2024, which will take place this Sunday, the 3rd, and the next 10th.

According to the Public Security Secretariat of the State of São Paulothe teams will escort the tests and ensure the maintenance of public order in the vicinity of the test locations.

“The PM has guaranteed the presence of vehicles that transport and distribute the evidence throughout the state, a crucial point to guarantee the confidentiality of the evaluation”, states the SSP.

On the eve of the exam, accompaniments from the storage locations to the application centers will also be carried out. In total, there will be more than 1,500 transports in São Paulo.

According to the SSP, staff will be increased with 1,000 police officers and 500 vehicles in the vicinity of schools and universities, to maintain order and safely transport students to testing sites.

The São Paulo Civil Police will also strengthen the rosters of police stations across the state, as well as maintain preventive and specialized policing through the Group for the Repression of Armed Robbery and Assaults (Garra).
