Corinthians wins the Derby and moves away from the relegation zone


With goals from Garro and Yuri Alberto, Timão withstood the early pressure and achieved a crucial result to escape Z4 once and for all.




Corinthians beat rival Palmeiras 2-0, in a classic game at the Neo Química Arena, this Monday (04), in a match valid for the 32nd round of the Brazilian championship. With this victory, Timão added three points and moved away from the relegation zone and reduced Verdão’s chances of winning the title. The goals were scored by Rodrigo Garro and Yuri Alberto.

For the Brazilian championship, Corinthians will face Vitória away from home on Saturday (09), at 16:30 (Brasilia time). Returning to play at home, on Wednesday (20th) they will host Cruzeiro, while on Sunday (24th) they will host Vasco in Itaquera. Both games have no set times at this time.

FIRST HALF
