Trauco is called up by the Peruvian national team for the qualifiers

The left back from Criciúma appears again among those selected to represent La Blanquirroja in the next duels for the qualifying tournament

The list of those called up to represent the Peruvian team in the World Cup qualifiers was published on Monday morning (4). Left back Miguel Trauco, from Criciúma, again appeared among the chosen ones for Blanquirroja’s duels against Chile and Argentina.

Defending Criciúma since the start of the current season, Trauco has earned a place in the Santa Catarina team and is an important part of coach Cláudio Tencati’s squad. The Peruvian played 32 games for Aurinegra and scored two goals. His importance in the Brazilian team resulted in another call-up to represent his country in their quest for a place in the next World Cup.

There were 29 players called up by coach Jorge Fossati for Peru’s next matches. With Trauco available, the team will take the field on November 15 (Friday), at 8.30pm (Brasilia time), when they face Chile, at the Nacional stadium in Lima. The second match will be on Thursday 19th (Tuesday), at 9pm, at the Monumental de Núñez, against Argentina.

Embezzlement in Criciúma

Despite the pause in the Brazilian championship due to the FIFA date, Criciúma will have to return to the field for the match valid for the 34th round, against Vitória, on 20 or 21 November. Due to logistical and physical conditions, Trauco may be absent from the Catarina team for the match. The details of the duel for Serie A will still be defined by the CBF.
