New film in the franchise, called Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, features the return of the actor as detective Benoit Blanc
Daniel Craig (007 – No Time To Die), who plays the detective Benoit Blanc in Between Knives and Secretswants the third film in the franchise, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mysterystay longer in the cinemas.
Normally, Netflix releases films for just one week, just to ensure the possibility of nominating it for awards, but the actor spoke, in an interview with Varietywhich expects Wake Up Dead Man stay a little longer in the cinemas:
“I hope Netflix extends it a little bit, and people can watch it. The people I talk to — the fans, I imagine — want to take their families and see the movie in the theater. That’s all they want. I hope we can provide this experience to them”he stated.
What we already know about Wake Up Dead Man?
Sequence of Between Knives and Secrets(2019) and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery(2022), Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (Wake Up, Dead Man: A Knives Out Mysteryin free translation) is scheduled to arrive on Netflix in 2025, as part of a US$450 million deal signed after the success of the first film.

What is it about Between Knives and Secrets?
Nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, Between Knives and Secrets show the detective Benoit Blanc solving the mysterious death of the patriarch of an eccentric and conflicted family. Names Chris Evans (Avengers: Endgame), Ana de Armas (blonde), Jamie Lee Curtis (Everything Everywhere at the Same Time), Christopher Plummer (All the Money in the World), Tony Collette (The Power) and michael shannon (The Flash) are in the cast of the film.
AND Glass Onion?
In the second film, White is invited to participate in a detective game, promoted by a bored millionaire. However, when a murder actually happens during the game, things get out of control and the detective needs to put his skills into practice.
