Five years after the end of The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco’s career does not stop, on the contrary! Penny’s interpreter starred in the cult sitcom The Flight Attendant, a series that received Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations for Drama.
The 38-year-old American actor is now preparing to return to comedy. Not in one of the Big Bang Theory spin-offs (several series are in the works), but in a completely different project called Kansas City Star. This new program is overseen by the creators of Hacks, one of the most popular comedy series in the United States.
HBO acquired the rights to broadcast the Kansas City Star after tough negotiations with other US cable channels. The synopsis for the series has not yet been revealed, but all indications are that the show will be aimed at mature audiences, with potentially graphic content. Or the complete opposite of the big bang theory!
Kaley Cuoco also stars in two other series currently airing. The American actor will appear in the cop comedy based on True Story, which will soon air Season 2 on Peacock in the US (and Paramount+ in France); She also voices Harley Quinn in the animated series dedicated to the DC Comics super villain.
Twelve seasons of the sitcom The Big Bang Theory are now available to watch on Max.
