After 5 weeks on air, M6 airs the final four episodes of Code Quantum’s first season this Saturday, November 23rd. Based on Scott Bakula’s iconic ’90s series, the fiction takes place 30 years after Dr. Sam Beckett entered a particle accelerator and disappeared.
In the present day, a new team led by physicist Ben Song (Raymond Lee) resumes the project in hopes of finding out what really happened. Unfortunately, after an unauthorized leap into the past, Ben finds himself in a time spiral, moving from life to life and era to era.
Will there be a second season?
Code Quantum will return for a second season. In December 2022, just weeks after the series began in the United States, NBC announced a renewal for a new round of episodes.
The remarkable audience reached by Code Quantum is the source of this good news. During its run, the pilot attracted more than 10 million viewers and became one of the top drama series launches produced by NBC.
Season 2 coming soon to M6!
And since good news never comes alone, M6 has decided to launch Code Quantum season 2 starting next week. From 11.35pm on Saturday 30 November, viewers will be able to find Ben Song and his teammates in new adventures that are as exciting as ever.
In the first episode of the second season, titled “Diversion”, Ben, who has now regained his memory, takes a leap into another time. He regained consciousness in Russia in 1978, aboard a military plane carrying a box with secret contents.
After being hit by a Russian missile, the plane crashes and Ben and the rest of the crew find themselves in enemy territory without Edison or the entire Code Quantum team…
Catch the latest episodes of the first season of Code Quantum this Saturday 23rd November from 9.10pm on M6.
