Ingredients Beef steaks

– 400g fillet mignon steaks, clean and fat-free – 2 units per person. (or rump steaks)

– salt to taste

– pepper to taste

– 1/2 large garlic clove, minced (optional)

MILANESA IN AIRFRYER ingredients:

– 1 unit of egg diluted in a little filtered water, or enough.

– 1/2 cup(s) breadcrumbs, or enough for breading. (or panko flour)

– salt to taste (pinch)

– 1/4 tablespoon(s) of paprika

PREPARATION:

  1. Start by preparing and seasoning the steaks (see preparation).
  2. Set aside the other ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  3. Beat the eggs with a little salt in a bowl or shallow plate.
  4. Place the breadcrumbs mixed with the paprika in another bowl or shallow plate.
  5. Preheat the Airfryer for 3-5 minutes at 200°C.

PREPARATION:

Steaks (this step must be performed before continuing the preparation):

  1. Peel the garlic (optional) and chop it very finely
  2. Cut the meat of your choice into steaks (2 units per person), weighing approximately 100 g each.
  3. Place the steaks, one at a time, in a plastic bag and on a cutting board, beat them with a whisk until they are thin and of uniform thickness.
  4. Season with minced garlic (optional), salt and pepper and set aside.
  5. Continue pre-preparation (step 2).

Milanese steak in the Airfryer:

  1. Lightly coat the steaks in the breadcrumbs and paprika and shake off the excess.
  2. Then add the beaten egg(s) and drain.
  3. Finally, we cover the breadcrumbs again with paprika and press well so that they are well breaded.
  4. Place in the Airfryer basket preheated to 200ºC, without overlapping: depending on the quantity of steaks and the size of the equipment basket, cook the steaks in several stages.
  5. Close the Airfryer drawer and bake for about 20 minutes.
  6. Halfway through, open the Airfryer drawer and flip the steaks.
  7. Continue cooking until they are golden.
  8. Remove the drawer.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Reorder the steaks breaded in the Airfryer on a serving plate or, if you prefer, distribute it directly onto the plates.
  2. Accompany with a salad of your choice.
