Diamond Films has released the new trailer for Den of Thieves 2: Panther, the sequel to the 2018 action film. The film, once again written and directed by Christian Gudegast, marks the reunion of Gerard Butler and The ‘Shea Jackson Jr (Ice). Cube’s son), who return to their roles after the events of the first feature film, but now as partners.
In the new storyline, Big Nick (Gerard Butler) continues to pursue Donnie (O’Shea Jackson Jr.), who becomes involved with a gang of dangerous diamond thieves. The group plans a major assault on the world’s largest diamond market. This time, however, Nick has an unusual proposal for Donnie.
Police and robber
In one of the scenes in the trailer, the policeman confronts the thief at the table and proposes an alliance. “I’m tired of being the hunter,” Nick says, suggesting that the two team up to pull off the big heist. The partnership continues, but leads to a new persecution: the stolen diamonds belong to the mafia, which wants to recover its fortune.
The sequel promises to intensify the suspense and action with the unexpected collaboration between the characters.
“Lair of Thieves 2” will be released on January 30 in Brazil, three weeks after its release in the United States.
