Hosted by Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black, it is mostly a beautiful little cottage surrounded by a low wall and snow-covered fields, providing a soft and soothing coconut for its visitors.
A heavenly chalet… that doesn’t exist?!
It was Jude Law who made this unfortunate announcement at the microphone BBC Radio 2It leaves the interlocutors speechless:

So director Nancy Myers had in mind what she wanted. And with the resources of American studio film, he was able to get exactly what he wanted, even if that meant creating it for the needs of the film. Jude Law Breaks Your Magic, Part 2
“If you’re watching, have fun because we were filming in the winter, but thisEvery time I walk through the door, the shot cuts and we’re actually filming in a studio in Los Angeles…three months later!”

It’s enough to spoil the magic of the film and the hopes of fans who may have hoped to one day be able to rent this chalet near Sherry (Surrey, England), where part of the feature film was shot.
Thank you Jude Law! And to rediscover a bit of the cinematic illusion, it’s always possible to see and re-watch Holidays on physical media. Unfortunately, it is not currently available on any platform.
