A Different Man is named Best Film of 2024 at the Gotham Awards

THE Gotham Awards revealed, last Monday night (2), the winners of the year at the awards, which are focused on independent cinema and low-budget productions. Still unpublished in Brazil, A Different Manstarring Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice), took the main prize of the night, for Best Film.

Anoralong Sean Baker (Tangerine), which won the Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, led the list of nominations and was therefore considered one of the main candidates for the awards. However, the production, which premieres in January 2025 in Brazilian cinemas, left empty-handed. Check out the full list of winners below:
