The main actor
Emmanuel Courcol chose Pierre Lottin very early because he was playing for Triumph. The role of Jimmy was written for him. Benjamin Musician
Benjamin Lavernhe is a drummer, guitarist and also knows how to play the piano. All he had to do was work on the parts before shooting to create the illusion. For conducting, he was trained for several months, and then on the set, by the very brilliant young conductor Antoine Dutaillis. Emmanuel Kurkol recalls:During filming, during excerpts from symphonic scores he actually conducted, so much so that if he made a mistake, the orchestra would fall apart.“
