$700 Million Worldwide: This iconic 2000s saga returns with a 6th film in 2025!

The horror saga Final Destination left its mark on more than one viewer. Who doesn’t think of the second film in the $700 million franchise when driving behind a truck loaded with logs? Who has never shivered before taking off on a plane (Final Destination 1) or mentally played the fun sequence from Final Destination 3 while sitting on the thrill ride?

The iconic franchise went on hiatus in 2011, Final Destination 5 is gearing up for a big return to cinema with the sixth installment. A feature film titled Final Destination: Bloodlines was recently released by Warner Bros. And hence will hit our theaters on May 14, 2025. We still don’t know if the film will be related to the previous films like the fifth installment, which actually turned out to be a prequel to the first film.

Who are the new victims?

Bloodlines is directed by Zach Lipowski and Adam B. Stein, and stars Breck Basinger (VC Andrews), Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam), Theo Briones (Chuck), Richard Harmon (100), Max Lloyd Jones and Owen Patrick Joyner.

Based on a story by Jon Watts (director of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man saga) and characters created by Jeffrey Reddick, this sixth film will be written by Guy Busick (who worked on the new Scream trilogy) and Laurie Evans Taylor.

In the project from 2019, the feature film should return to the sources while changing the formula, if we believe Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of the saga, who promised. Collider last year: It’s not just going to be, ‘We’ve got a bunch of people, they’re cheating death, and then death comes.’

Barring any other injuries, see you at the cinema on May 14, 2025.
