Amazon is test a new feature on Prime Video which uses artificial intelligence to recommend groups of content, replacing traditional algorithms.
If you take the test, you’ll see new “AI Topics” customized to your interests, such as “mind-blowing science fiction,” “fantasy quests,” or “exciting character journeys.”
Each category will include linear shows, movies, and channels that align with these AI-generated labels. Plus, you can further refine recommendations by selecting topics related to the category of interest, which Amazon says makes it easier to “discover more content without hitting a dead end.”
The feature will launch first in the United States
Additionally, Prime Video also introduced AI summaries last month, allowing users to summarize entire seasons, episodes, or even specific parts of episodes.
The novelty was designed to prevent viewers from encountering spoilers while trying to catch up on the plot. Read more here.
