The actresses star in ‘Wicked’ and have shown support for each other during the film’s promotion
Ariana Grande admitted that he demanded a contract with terms equal to those of Cynthia Erivo to Wicked. In an interview with the foundation of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), Big explained why he demanded parity with Erivo.
“We talk a lot about this pact we made to look out for each other and to be really honest about anything that comes up. But I don’t think people understand how detailed we were and how seriously we really took it,” said the interpreter of Glinda.
When I got my contract, I called her and said, ‘Hey, let’s go over this together. Let’s go point by point and make sure we’re aligned on what we need. Because if you need something, we need it together. I want us to take care of each other. Like, your problems become my problems, and mine become yours.’
