Alabama-born young actor Hudson Meek died on December 21 after falling from a moving car. He was 16 years old. His family posted a message to fans about his death:
“We are heartbroken to hear tonight that Hudson Meek has come home to be with Jesus. His 16 years on this earth were too short, but he accomplished so much and had a significant impact on everyone he met.”

Police are investigating
site Al.com was the first to announce the young actor’s death, which occurred on December 19 along Canyon Road in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. According to local police interviewed by Al.com, Hudson Meek was injured after being thrown from a moving vehicle by a blunt object.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on December 21. Vestavia Hills police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Hudson Meek began his career at the age of six with a small role in the TV movie Christmas Fraud (2014). The following year, he appeared in 90 Minutes in Heaven alongside Kate Bosworth and Hayden Christensen. In 2017, he played a younger version of Ansel Elgort’s character in Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver.
We saw him again on the small screen in MacGyver (2018) or Legacies and recently starred in the feature film The School Duel by Todd Wiseman Jr (2024).
