January 3: Wallace and Gromit: The Palm of Revenge
It’s the return of Wallace & Gromit! This iconic duo of plasticine characters returns in an all-new stop-motion movie directed by Nick Park, creator of the original series about this crazy and clumsy inventor and his dog.
In this new opus, titled Wallace & Gromit: The Palm of Vengeance, Gromit’s fear that Wallace will become too dependent on his inventions is justified when Wallace invents a “smart” dwarf who begins to take initiatives.
When it turns out that an old acquaintance bent on revenge may be behind it, Gromit must fight against the dark forces and save his master… or Wallace may never invent anything again!
January 2: Song of the Wolf (Addition to the catalog)
The surprise success of 2019, which gathered more than one and a half million viewers in cinemas, Le Chant du Loup is carried by an impressive cast that includes François Civil, Omar Sy, Mathieu Kasowitz and Reda Katt. This first feature film by Antonin Beaudry tells the story of Golden Bay, a French nuclear submarine.
Notoriously infallible, he still makes a mistake that puts the crew in mortal danger. He wants to regain the trust of his comrades, but his search leads them into an even more dramatic situation.
In a world of nuclear deterrence and disinformation, they are all trapped in an uncontrollable spiral.
