What is the story of The Brutalist?

The Brutalist tells the story of the visionary architect László Toth (Adrien Brodyfrom The Pianist) and his wife, Erzsébet (Felicity Jones, The Theory of Everything), who, in 1947, escape war-torn Europe to start over and help shape modern America. However, the arrival of an enigmatic client radically changes the course of their lives.
