Everything we know about ‘John Wick 4’: First image of Keanu Reeves

John Wick is about to extend his universe with a fourth installment of the franchise, a series in the form of a prequel that will tell us about the origins of the hotel ‘The Continental’ and the High Table, as well as the different groups of assassins scattered around the globe, and a spin-off film titled ‘Ballerina’ and starring Ana de Armas.

The fourth ‘John Wick’ moviewhich of course will be starring again Keanu Reeves, arrives after confirming the success of the franchise at the box office. If the first of 2014 raised 86 million and the second installment 171 million worldwide, ‘John Wick 3: Parabellum’ almost doubled its predecessor with 321 million dollars amassed worldwide. With these figures, the producers had to pick up cable (in principle it was going to be a closed trilogy) and launched a new chapter.

The first news we had was that ‘John Wick 4’ would be released on May 21, 2021… But the pandemic came, and everything was delayed. The next date marked on the calendar became May 27, 2022. No luck either. The final date (hopefully) has been set this time for March 24, 2023.

The script is in charge of Shay Hatten (John Wick 3′) and Michael Finch, who makes his debut in the franchise, but we still do not know many details about this fourth installment. They will be accompanied by an action movie legend like Donnie Yenwho will play Caine, and the actor who has given life to the clown Pennywise in the diptych of ‘It’ by Andy Muschietti, Bill Skarsgård.

The cast of complete with Scott Adkins (‘The mercenaries 2’), Hiroyuki Sanada (‘Bullet Train’), marko zaror (‘Machete Kills’) and the British Natalie Tena (‘Harry Potter’ series).

At the moment no clip or trailer of the film has been released, but Lionsgate has revealed the first promotional image of the film, in which we can see Keanu Reeves with his characteristic black suit look, outlined beard and hair on his shoulders.
