According to documents, the mothers are thrilled to be reunited with their daughters held hostage by Hamas for more than 400 days
The Israeli government published on social media photos of the reunion between the mothers and the three hostages freed by Hamas this Sunday, the 19th. The recordings were taken by the Israeli Defense Forces.

The three were handed over to the Red Cross this Sunday, the 19th, after being held hostage by Hamas for 471 days. They are part of the first group of 33 hostages who will be released in the coming days.
In exchange, Israel pledged to release Palestinian prisoners and withdraw its military forces into the Gaza Strip.

The first three women freed were:
- Emily Damari, 28, kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza in southern Israel.
- Romi Gonen, 24, kidnapped during an ambush while trying to leave the Supernova festival.
- Doron Steinbrecher, 31, who is a veterinary nurse and also lived in Kfar Aza when she was captured in her apartment.
In the post published on the official Instagram of the Israeli government, they appear emotional as they hug their mothers in a record with the caption: “The first moments of reuniting Romi, Emily and Doron with their families.”
