It seems that the end of ‘The Walking Dead’ is going to give us a surprise regarding the intelligence of the zombies.
‘The Walking Dead’ has long lived up to that of going undead. Not for nothing, the series continues its success without hesitation, but because it seems that its announced end never comes. When it seems that it is going to arrive, more and more come out. It is a zombie series in the best sense of the word (if this exists). And, beyond movies, spin-offs or miniseries like Rick and Michonne, we are still waiting for the end of the mother series. It will be nothing more and nothing less than with Part 3 of season 11 (then there are those who complain about ‘Stranger Things’…).
The San Diego Comic-Con, in addition to advancing us things from ‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ such as a trailer with Joe or the past of Samantha Morton’s Alpha, has provided us with a panel of ‘The Walking Dead’ the sea of juicy where, among other things, the first trailer of these final episodes, of part 3 of this long and epic last season, has been unveiled.
The first of the final episodes will be broadcast on October 2, putting an end to this historic series on November 20, always talking about the United States, although not much delay is expected in Spain.
The main novelty of these new images are the so-called “intelligent zombies” of which we already saw a small preview after the credits of ‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’. It appears that this faction of cultivated zombies have made their way from Europe to the southern United States. And no, it’s obviously not good news for Carol, Daryl, Ezekiel, Maggie, Negan and company.
It seems incredible but, at least as far as the main series is concerned, the end is near. We won’t believe it until it arrives, since we already know that zombies are hard to kill at all. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has said that it will “take a while to process” for the series to come to an end. Norman Reedus already speaks of “a real joy” to describe his time in the series, although let’s not forget that a spin-off awaits him in Europe in which Daryl embarks on his own path. Morgan will also be in ‘Isle of the Dead,’ which will pair his Negan with Maggie (Laura Cohan), on a trip to New York City. That’s not to mention ‘Fear The Walking Dead’, the new spin-off of ‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ or the aforementioned Rick miniseries. What we were saying, that this death is very much alive.
