Yellowstone: What is the connection between family ties between the characters of the three Western series?

You can be undefeated about Yellowstone, but you are mistaken when it comes to the footsteps of the Dutton family. This family, whose fate has been restored in the West three seasons – Yellowstone, 1883 and 1923 – Series – took place in Montana, through a long and dangerous crossing of American West.

First Generation Dutton

It all began in 1883 and James Dutton (Tim McGrov )’s journey to the south of the United States, north of Montana. The latter is accompanied by his wife Margaret (Faith Hill) and their two children: Elsa (Isabel May) and John (Audie Rick), the first to bear this name in the Dutton family.

In the mini soap operas, Jacob, the older brother of James, is not seen. This character appears only in 1923 in Harrison Ford’s attire. Married to Kara Dutton (Helen Miren), Jacob lives with his nephew John (James Badzh Dale), who is now an adult and father of Jack Dutton for twenty years.

The third generation will be in the middle of the next series

The 1923 series also tells us that Elsa, James and Margaret had a third child after her death: Spencer Dutton. During World War I, he now lived in Africa and carries out the profession of wild animals. His meeting with Alexandra, the young British aristocrat, will bother its existence.

After a long trip to return to Montana, Alexandra sacrifices her own existence to maintain this baby. This son was named Johnny, the second name of the name, so with respect for Spencer’s chief brother, he was shot in the first episode of the series. The epilogue of 1923 shows that Spencer has never recovered and therefore never had another child on this child.

What is the future for the Dutton clan after the Yellowstone?

The 1944 series, which did not start shooting, could identify other members of the Dutton family. It seems that in the time of the century, the jump will lead to finding the main series of Yellowstone characters. John Dutton, located by Kevin Costner, is the third name because he bears the same name as his father and his grandfather.

John’s wife is called Evelyn Dutton, but he died a few years before the series. The couple had three children – Lee (Dave Anna), Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Casey (Luke Grams) – which was added to the adopted son: Jamie Duton.

Johnny is also the grandfather of three children: Tate, Casey’s son, John IV (who died at birth) and James, Jamie (the first name seems to refer to the hero of 1883, as well as James himself).

The five generations of Dutton have followed each other for 150 years, which has been examined through three Yellowstone series. Their adventure is far from the four series, including the new predecessor in 1944, which examined the youth of Spencer’s son John Dutton.
